Designed with affordability in mind, the wOw car allows people who could never previously own a car finally have one to call their own. Not only is the wOw car a safe mode of transportation, but with our modular design, it’s also incredibly versatile! People the world over can purchase a wOw car and transform it into an income-earning work vehicle such as a taxi, food vending cart, or a utility/dump truck.
Not only is it
versatile and affordable, but the wOw car is also green! With the mission statement
of reducing fossil fuel use and cutting CO2 from exhausts, the wOw car runs
exclusively on electric power. Not only is the wOw car itself affordable, but
it saves its owner from having to ever buy petrol!
The idea of creating an affordable eco-friendly vehicle came about observing life in Asia. Noticing how large families of 4-6 members squeeze on to one small motorcycle and witnessing the many motorcycle accidents on the street, we found a way to create a much safer and more affordable source of transportation rather than a small unstable motorcycle or scooter.
The wOw Car Project is a worldwide efficiency revolution in automobiles, which ultimately affects their design, manufacture, taxation, ownership and use. It is a wholesale package “automotive paradigm shift” leading to worldwide cuts in congestion, costs and CO2 emissions.
Witnessing the need for change in reducing the consumption of fossil fuels, curtailing the damage to our global climate, as well as reducing congestion on roads in Asia and the world over, the wOw Team went about designing a vehicle that could embody a solution for those issues. The result, of course, was the wOw Car.
The wOw Car will have a significantly lower number of components, will be constructed so that it can be assembled easily, will weigh as little as possible (and much less than existing vehicles of a similar size) and will be designed for maximum maneuverability and ease of parking.
