of replaceable ABS thermoformed plastic body
• Minimal parts and the compact size will support low-cost
manufacturing and will significantly reduce life-cycle
impacts.
A traditional car of comparable size is comprised of
thousands of parts needed to assemble. However, the
wOw Car is assembled with fewer than 50 components.
• Materials selected will be made from recycled materials
where possible and will have the lowest life cycle impact
that meets design requirements.
• The compact size will also reduce the size of site needed
for final assembly and manufacture. Reduced components
will decrease energy used during tooling and fixture
manufactures.
• The wOw Car chassis is designed to “flat pack” for
shipping. The rest will be able to be box packed and drop
shipped to local dealers from our network of
manufacturers.
• At end-of-life, many components will be re-usable
including the body panels, modules, and chassis.
